It might just be raining samurai, because here is your second one of the day: allow me to introduce you to Chōsokabe Motochika of Samurai Warriors 3. Daimyo of Shikoku, this particular version is a (tsugaru) shamisen-wielding musical assassin with a strong, rather eccentric personality and no shortage of willpower. Hello, all! I'm Bell, short for Bellflower, and I'm a new player bringing one Akechi Mitsuhide from Samurai Warriors 3 to your lovely game.

Historically, Mitsuhide is a samurai famous for betraying and defeating his Lord, Oda Nobunaga; any characters with some awareness of Japanese history will probably have heard of him. This fictional interpretation did exactly that, though his reasons for it are... almost certainly quite different. There's quite a lot of historical inaccuracy here, but hey, that's part of what makes him endearing! Mitsuhide is a kind, compassionate and rather emotional young man with a hidden side of steel when the time comes for it, but also a massive guilt complex and a tendancy to get depressed rather easily.

Mitsuhide's character hub post is here for those who wish to look through it, but for quick reference, his soul arcana is Strength and his unlucky arcana are The Lovers, The Devil, The Fool and Temperance (bonus points if you know what I find Fool and Devil amusing).

HELLO STRINGS. This is Groove. I was here a while ago with Elaine from Monkey Island but I kinda ran out of steam with her so I apped someone else! This here is LINK, specifically from the end of Majora's Mask (which means he is also the Link from Ocarina of Time!). He's just finished saving Termina from having a moon dropped on it and now he's here to save your princesses, battle evil, and run mundane errands! Good times!

So a few things of note about Link. His arcana is the Chariot, his unlucky ones are High Priestess, Hanged Man, Tower, and Sun, and he'll be living in Pisces 11-01. His persona just so happens to be the Fierce Deity. For details, his profile is right over here and my plurk is over here. He's also never been in a city as modern as this one, so there's bound be some culture shock. I AM looking forward to throwing this squirt at everyone!

Hey, everybody. It's your friendly neighborhood Brantron here with another character. This cutie here is Berserker of Black from Fate/Apocrypha, known in life as Frankenstein's monster. She's coming to Hinoto-Ri straight after her elimination from the Great Holy Grail War of Trifas, and is probably not going to be very happy about it. I expect she'll have a hard time making friends since her Mad Enhancement has rendered her unable to form coherent sentences, but she's highly intelligent and bursting with empathy behind that frustratingly linefacey exterior of hers. Just be careful of her tendency to hulk out and smash things when she loses her temper.

Berserker will be living in Libra 5-04 for the time being, though she's likely to move out once she finds somewhere a little more isolated where she can set up. Her Arcana is Death, her bad Arcanas are Fool, Lovers, Chariot, and Fortune, and her Persona is of course Victor Frankenstein. She's not going to be very happy about that either. I'll most likely hold off on an IC intro until after the Aquarius event is over, but I at least wanted to toss up an OOC intro before we're in full event mode. Looking forward to playing her here!

So once upon a time there was a player called Crystal who brought in an original character by the name of Sam Erstwhile into Destiny Strings, had tons of fun with him, but had to drop him because of how busy real life became.

WELL I'M BACK. And I have brought in Sam Erstwhile once again!

For those of you not acquainted with the guy, Sam is probably the most pathetic example of a human being you can find- he's a young man who's timid, apologizes too much for his own good, can't fight well, and is generally a big giant coward who would probably die of shame after killing a fly.

Or is he?

Well, let's just say that Sam kiiiiiind of made a Faustian deal with what can only be described as a creature that Lovecraft would adore, and that his ever so harmless innocent exterior might not at all match with what's going on in his mind at any given time.That being said, if you could please head over here for a brief permission post that basically explains what he can do as...well, what he actually is.

He is also of the Tower arcana and his bad arcanas are Devil, High Priestess, Magician, and Moon. He is also a Scorpio and will be hanging out in Libra 7-03.

Hello Destiny Strings! Wighty here, player of Atsuro Kihara and Phantom Girl, bringing in a new character: Lucas from Mother 3! Lucas, in one sentence, is the kind of person who responds to 'what is your favorite thing' with 'Love'. He is as kind and gentle as anyone can possibly be, and he specializes in such nauseating virtues as hope, faith, and friendship.

Additionally, Lucas is an extraordinarily powerful psychic healer; he is also one of two people in his world (the other now deceased for good) who can wield the ultimate psychic power, not-so-coincidentally named PK Love. In Destiny Strings, his Persona will be a Support Persona, Homonoia, the Greek goddess of concord, and his Arcana will be The World. His Unlucky Arcana are Moon, Hierophant, Death, and Empress. He will be staying in Libra 5|02.

Hi this is Cube and I'm switching out characters to bring in Mesousa. This here bunny is the tortured mascot character from Pani Poni Dash! so he's a bit timid and terrified of everything. He likes other rabbits and cold soda.

Other than that he can do absolutely nothing other than take whatever damage people are mean enough to throw at him. He's just a normal, white rabbit aside from his freakishly large head and ability to talk.

Greetings, all! My name's maddie, and I'll be bringing you this arrogant bastard, one John Allerdyce (although he'll insist you call him Pyro due to his canonpoint) from the X-Men movieverse. He's from the end of X2, so he's just betrayed the X-Men and joined the Brotherhood, and he thinks he's pretty hot shit.

Well, he always thinks he's pretty hot shit. It's just slightly worse atm. Not X3 balls-to-the-wall crazy worse, mind you.

He's a pyrokinetic, so you'll likely see him throwing fire around here and there, but movie physics seem to dictate that he can just knock people over with it rather than actually setting them on fire if he wants to. Obviously I'll check with people before adding that to a personal scrap, but jsyk that he's not too likely to actually immolate your characters.

empirestategods, you might recognize me... or, if you've got a long memory, you might recognize me from the nine goddamn characters I was playing up until the end of Econtra over on LJ.

Anyway, I'm here with this guy. This is Landen Heath, but all and sundry generally call him Maugris. Mostly because that's how he actually introduces himself, at least if he isn't dealing with normal people. Anyway, he's a Vampire: the Masquerade vampire, a Tremere (for those of you not in the know, that means "vampire wizard") who's trying really hard to be a good person and whose life seems like one long experiment to see if a vampire can get ulcers, mostly because he's the character I played in a LARP at UIUC. He'll be coming in very confused, because he's just dropped out of space-time from the fabric of reality unraveling around him and he has no idea how to find other vampires in a city without finding out before he arrived. But mostly he's here to try and help save the world like everyone else. Well, most people... some people. Somebody's got to do it, okay?

He's coming in under the Strength arcana, and his unlucky arcana are the Chariot, the High Priestess, Death, and the Sun (apparently the RNG likes irony). His persona is Malagi, a wizard knight from the Matter of France (and also the guy whose name he adopted).
