☣ EVENT APPROACHING! ☣

WARNING!

It's happening, it's finally happening.
TONIGHT AT 6-7PM EST the event will be started. What we are doing here is preliminary signps. In short, you sign up if you want to send your character, BUT you will not need to have signed up to be in there. This is just to give us a rough number of how many people are interested, and anyone who signs up without knowing what is happening will get a special bonus upon your return from it.

▶ We STILL can't tell you what it is right now. Spoilers. We know this is frustrating but let me make something very clear : This will be one of the ONLY instances of the game where we are sending you blindly somewhere. Usually you will get warning ahead to plan, but this event is special and we want to keep it a surprise until the very last minute. We've been planning and setting this up for the past 4 months and we're gonna milk it until the end.

▶ This event will affect the game's overall plot and we will be giving details of how after it gets started. Again, don't worry if you don't want to send your characters / can't do it, the plot will affect them once they return and they will have many new things opened to them...

▶ You can join even if you arrived a few days ago into the game. This event is open for everyone in the game, apart from your NPC characters. There are a few NPC exceptions, for plot reasons. Otherwise your NPCs will need to stay in the city, meanwhile.

▶ You can join the first log for this event until the 14th to be able to participate.

▶ There will be an emergency Velvet Room post where you can list all your Persona changes. A real Velvet Log will be posted during this month for those that stay behind, and another for those when they return home. Ah yes, and an Aramid Room log once they return too. They've been wanting to talk with you for a while now...

▶ If you don't want to send your character but they would go, do NOT worry because the event will include both 1) Everyone being told IC what is happening, and 2) IC reasons for characters to not attend, should you decide not to participate in the event

▶ The event is very dangerous. There is the IC possibility of death if your character goes. For this reason, everyone will ICly be given one (1) revival bead necklace that will function a SINGLE time and for this event only.

▶ However, OOCly, any death would not happen unless you wanted it to. We're just saying it is dangerous).

▶ The event may end up being psychologically horrifying for your character(s). This entirely depends on your character(s), obviously, but someone who is all rainbow, sunshine, hope and puppies might find that this event will test their morality, shatter their hopes and make them question everything. As a player, if you are not comfortable playing in such situations, we advise you to steer clear of the logs that will happen from this event. If you delight in making life for your characters horrible, now's your chance!

▶ Characters involved are going to be on an expedition for most entire month and unable to return to the city until the end of said month.

▶ As we mentioned before, there will still be things happening in the city while this is going on. Including something planned for February 14th, so anyone who doesn't want to do this event can stay behind no problem!

▶ It's going to be fucking awesome and BLOW YOUR MINDS. Please excuse the language. We're already apologizing for the plurk explosion this will undoubtedly cause tonight.

I don't wanna send my characters in for horrible mind-breaking stuff, but Nick has the capability to communicate with Persona users. Can he be useful as providing some communication between the event-goers and, say, the 7 or something?
