Monthly Plot Update ▼

 

The November Calendar has been up since the early morning hours of the 1st. Check it out! There are a few open plot logs this month, including two player plots! We'll be letting the runners of both those plots give you more information about them when it comes time.

FIRST SNOW FALL (4TH)

This will be a very simple log where characters can enjoy hot cocoa and watch the first snowfall over the city. After the strange candy episode, you'll be happy for that short amount of time off.

Just ignore that weird feeling of dread around you. We're sure nothing is wrong...

SHICHI-GO-SAN FESTIVAL aka EVERYONE BECOMES CHILDREN (15th)
OR, HOW I LEARNED TO BE YOUNG IN HINOTO-RI AND LOVE THE CITY.

This is a rite of passage and festival day in Japan for three-to-seven-year-old girls and three-to-five-year-old boys, held annually on November 15 to celebrate the growth and well-being of young children.

However for the Visitors, it will be something different entirely: those who wish to participate may be reverted to their younger selves.. While keeping their memories of their older selves (all or partly or not at all, it's up to you!), they will be stuck inside their younger bodies, and act like their younger urges (a more child-like behavior, if you will). How much more childlike and how many of their older selves memories they have is up to you.

The event will last 3 IC days, and end on the 18th. Participation is not mandatory (in fact, it may be hilarious to find yourself surrounded by youngsters). However, there's a lot more to this event than what may appear at first glance.

THE PRIVATE NETWORK WILL BE DOWN FROM THE 15TH to the 18TH.

Those participating in the Pokemon plot will miss when the network comes back online in full force, but during those days, only the public, backup network will be available. Don't worry Pokemon people, we're sure you'll been welcomed with open arms when you're back as they'll need you.

Electricity will also malfunction and characters may need to have sleepovers or bring extra blankets to stay warm. There will be an open apartment log for this as well.

AND THEN...

On the 18th at the stroke of midnight, there will be a message left for the Visitors, and the public in general.

And then... well...

Playtime's over, Hinoto-Ri.

While not the entirety of the events in the upcoming months, this is a brief overlook of what to expect in the next few months. Get excited, it's perfectly alright!

The next battle will happen during the last weeks of January.

What's a little bit of love without a little bit of magic? Time for those crushes to come out of the woodwork and cause problems for everyone.

It's time to see what dangers may lurk outside of the city...

The plot on the 18th will also serve as a way for us to test a few things and for you to participate a lot more actively in the way the game evolves. Choices you will make once the new mod post is up will determine how Hinoto-Ri will develop during the upcoming years. So we can't wait for you to see what's going to happen!
