Welcome to the twice monthly-ish open log list! Every 2-3 weeks, we will try to list all of the open logs in Strings available to comment to for your ease of access. Let us know if we missed one of your logs/posts, and we apologize if we do so!

Ongoing reminder! Please tag your posts! And if you have an open log, add the '!open log' tag or a '!closed log' for the exact opposite, and add your character's tag when you post in one. It will make looking for your tags for AC much easier, trust us. Thank you so much!

Do you like Destiny Strings? Are there castmates or just new characters you'd like to see? Do you want the karma fairy to bring you puppies and rainbows and happiness? If you said yes to any of the above, then we need your help! ATP is coming this Saturday the 28th, and we'd like to recruit as much as we can!

▶ First, tell us who you want! Reply below with who you you want to see in the game, castmates or random characters alike, so everyone can keep an eye out! We will take this info and add it to our game ATP post.

▶ Brandon did a great job outlining what the game has to offer last month, and we'd love it if the game could grow more! If you're interested and have the time to do so, we would appreciate it if some players would be willing to go through the Character Ads and take a look to see if Strings would work for any potential applicants.

We are also definitely open to more discussion about how we can better advertise what Strings has to offer as a game, and especially discussion about how to make the game more welcoming to new players. Persona creation has been noted as a potential hurdle, and Walker very kindly has created a Persona creation tutorial for potential applicants and new players as well. If there's anything else you'd like to discuss, feel free to do so below!

▼ Grabbing new people to join us?

 

▶ It's pretty simple! If you spot someone in the character ads that you think would be a good fit for the game, hit them up! Just make sure you follow these simple rules:

▶ Don't just copy the game's ad! That's just spam and not very considerate for the person offering their characters. They took the time to make an offer, so a personalized reply is the way to go!

▶ So make sure you hit up people YOU want in the game! It doesn't have to be from fandoms you play in either, and even if it's just one or two characters they offer, it's fine to let them know! Mention those and anything they might find interesting about Strings in relation to the characters you're interested in seeing and how YOU'D love to see those characters there.

▶ Make sure you read their full offer to see if Strings fits their requirements. (For a quick idea: Community | Slow-Medium speed | Small sized game)

▶ This is why it's best to just poke at the people you'd want! Again, go with your heart.

▶ If you see someone else in the game already offering, ask that player if you can help them out / jump in to add comments as a cast member if you really want to reply to it as well.

▶ If they ask for more information, we have a Quick Game Facts page you can either link to or take information from. It has everything they'd want to know (and more!) without reading all of the game's pages.

▶ If they say the game isn't for them, wish them luck in finding one that does! It is hard to find just the right place to make your character fit and Strings isn't for everyone either. Plus we are all super-classy people.
