Moderator Post in August

stringmodsHello String...ies...we need a better group name!! The kidnapping plot is nearing its end (OOC Wise, IC wise it has been over in a while) and with it the freedom of your poor trapped characters.
At least with Group 1 nearing them. Now as for Group 2...well that's something else entirely (it is a mystery). Once the group gets far enough properly, we'll be doing another post to explain how their choices will affect the game's world.
This being said, it's August, and we have a few announcements!
A Moderator in Less
In sad news, Gaa has left the mod team. We'd like to give her a BIG thank you for being here since the game started and helping us shape the world as it is now. She'll be staying around to NPC a few characters as needed, but apart from that, you may be able to catch her on plurk.
There will be no changes as far as getting a new moderator. With the assistant mods we're able to keep the situation running well. If the game ends up getting a large amount of applications at any given time, then we'll ask for your aid once again.
Applications are open 24/7
Reviewed every Friday, applications to Destiny Strings is always opened 24/7, so tell your friends who might be curious to come in!

It's a quiet month to make way for September with a single event, and that's the school festival! This is pure Persona on our part; there will be everything from booths your characters can run if the attend school to the popular beauty and crossdressing pageants. If you have ideas for this festival, let us know!
And then comes September...
And that's when we'll be celebrating our 1st anniversary! The game still has three full planned years before endgame, and for the start of the second year, we have a few things planned, but for a game to grow, we also need your help in making this better. So let's start with a few things right now to get those creative juices flowing:
Plot Ideas
This isn't like a player-run plot. This is you suggesting ideas to us that you'd like to see in Strings. We can't guarantee that we'll put in everything, but your ideas might help us with what we already have planned!
Skill Ideas
I'll be revamping the persona creator after the 18th, and I figured not only should I add in the spells that are currently missing, but what if the players got to help us by creating spells?
Skills can be anything you want and if they are accepted, will be available for any Persona to create and use. It's a fun little thing that can enhance gaming experience to the next level.
Sounds interesting? There's a meme for it right now!
Anything Else?
Is there something else you'd like to see in Strings? Or something you'd like us to do? More demon taming? Certain types of logs? Certain NPCs being out more? Ask, and we'll see what we can do!
A More Aggressive Way of Advertising
We've been a little quiet lately due to real life on part of the mods, but once this convention is over, it's clear skies. Expect more things and we're going to have fun until the game reaches it's end. We hope you'll enjoy what we have in store...and what we've already planted as plot that you may have not noticed.
We'll be showcasing the game more, so tell all your friends about it!
