NEW APPLICATION AND RESERVE RULES
Let's start out with an announcement regarding applications!

Starting in July, due to the amount of mod and mod helpers aiding us with applications, Applications and Reservations will always be open unless stated during a major game event (where they will closed for that event's duration).

Applications will be reviewed every Friday night (but our team will be allowed to look at them earlier if they have time. Friday is our app day, basically).

Since there are no dates anymore, reserves will now also last a week.

We hope you are excited about this change as we are!

Apologies for the slow posting on my end, those who are in threads with me right now! I...kind of fell out of all things RP for a little while, haha and Animal Crossing New Leaf didn't help at all. ^^; But I'm going to do my best to get caught back up to speed starting today, so I'll be tagging those threads in not too long!

That said, though, I'm preparing to move in about a week from now, and one part of that includes my internet being shut off this coming Monday. Due to that, I may be unavailable for several days. Hopefully it won't take too long, but I'm estimating July 9 as the final moving day...for now. :|a But it may get done sooner than that. I'll post back here if anything changes.

Hey Strings,

For those of you who have me on Plurk, you know what this is about. Ever since March, my activity has been shot and I've been trying to revive it with no such luck. So instead of character squatting, I've decided to send Yukiko and Sora back home.

Sora didn't have many things so everything she owned goes to Owen Harper, including the trinkets she got from her Discedo friends.

ICly, Yukiko had been prepared if she were to leave the city. She sent notes to Kanji and Nano (via her pyro jack) saying that if something were to happen and if she would be gone, both would have rights of ownership to the inn. She trusts them both with her family's legacy and hopes that everything will be alright. She also sent notes to close CR as well explaining how sorry she was in not being able to stay and hopefully they will see each other again.


Again, thank you Strings for giving me the chance to play Yukiko here and being welcoming when I first joined. It means a lot.

(No really, I rarely even write goodbye posts.)

We'll see each other on the internet or other DW games so you haven't seen the last of me.

Take me where I have to go...

To anyone who followed me on plurk or saw my lacking activity the past couple months, this likely won't be as much of a surprise. After having been here since day one, I'm sad to say that I'll be leaving Destiny Strings. This means that both AU1!Aqua (destinedwaters) and OU!Izanami (handshakegreeting) are going home to their respective times, and to their respective places.

Though before I go, I'd like to thank my wonderful cast who put up with me this entire time, and the mods who gave both Aqua and Izanami a home to stay for as long as they have. This was like a second home for me as a player, and I'm sorry to have to leave in the first place. Though more importantly, I'm sorry for all the things that had been planned and never brought to fruition.

For those particularly close to Aqua, she'd have been preparing notes for each of them to open should she ever disappear from the city along with a small charm that fits in the palm of their hand (color and symbol in the center are entirely up to you). This includes anyone in her cast that she met and hadn't received it during their trip to towerofanimus or canonly, along with her several friends from other worlds (Nano, Garviel Loken, Eikichi Mishina, and Alia Shepard).

"If you're reading this, then this means that I'm no longer needed in this fight and have been called back to face the Dark in my own world. Please accept this small trinket as a sign of our friendship and the hardships we faced together, because whether I remember you or not when I return home, our hearts will always remember both the good times and the bad.

She leaves Castle of Departure/Oblivion to AU3!Kairi along with a personal apology to her and Naminé that she couldn't be there longer to train them herself, and that she will always see her, Naminé, and their Sora as their own people - never fake, for their Hearts are just as real as everyone else's. Her collection of magic tomes go to her, AU3!Naminé, AU1!Riku, OU!Terra-Xehanort, and anyone else who stays within the castle. Enjoy the resulting shenanigans, kids.

I have said it before, and I will say it again...

Never forget what is to dream, what it is to laugh, what it's like to smile even in midst of the greatest adversity. And above all, never lose sight of the light and hope within all of us.
