Hello and welcome to this month's big event, the TAURUS ZODIAC MONSTER EXTRAVAGANZA!

For those of you who have not participated in a Zodiac monster event before, on the 26th during the 13th Hour, a giant Zodiac Demonic Monster, along with small Bull-like creatures, will attack the city. Any townspeople and heroes (like you!) that are Taurus will be the main affected, but everyone gets to have fun too!

There will be warning signs. But this time, the pre-emptive planning will go all wrong.

Because what was assumed to be a pattern, and the signs leading up to it, is not that at all...

Thankfully, the monster is still defeatable! The zodiac, planet, and the star alignments work in mysterious ways...and while some will be blessed to become stronger heroes, others will cower in fear and be unable to do anything. Read on to find out how this may affect you, or what will happen should you chose to opt out for this event.

IF YOU ARE A TAURUS, YOU WILL BE AFFECTED THUSLY:
► Your personality traits and quirks will slowly start to spike starting on the 19th into cardboard cutouts of yourself. For example, if they get depressed often, they might be unable to stop crying, or if they have anger issues they may fly into a blind rage.
► On the 21st, the Government will try to contain those that are Taurus. It is completely up to you if you want your character to be willingly locked inside a special cell. You will still be able to use the COMP system (and we highly encourage it.) Alternately, your character can run away and evade capture.
► Regardless of what happens, a day before the main boss fight, your character's eyes will glow reddish or yellowish (You can pick the color, and if you have either red or yellow eyes already, obviously pick the other color.)
► On the date of the event, you will will have your face covered with a mask that you cannot remove until the Boss is defeated.
► ON THE 26TH THEY WILL BE BROKEN OUT OF THEIR HOLDING CELLS. Just in time to cause havoc!

► On the 26th, after their FREEDOM, they will feel the urge to collect and surround themselves with belongings / money / others. This can only be a few things, or an entire pile, if you so desire. It might just be hunting down all over the city for the ONE THING the character needs.
► The item(s) anything you want that has a value to the character. If your character likes money, they might try to hoard or steal it, if they have a love interest, they would try to kidnap them, if they like nature, they could even build a nest. It's entirely up to you how bad this obsession is.
► And they will attack everyone else that isn't an earth sign as they see it as commoners coming to get their things from them. Your Persona(s) will take on a dark taint, and all of your Personas will have their Mutation skill unlocked, no matter how many you may have.

► You can get Personas a level higher than you in the Aramid Room. THIS IS A TEMPORARY PERSONA. (They will be unable to call them after the event is over). Even if your character is locked in, they can still do this.
► Characters will remember their visit to the Aramid room like a bad dream.
► This does means for everyone else however, that they will also need to try and not kill them (knocking them out is a good idea)

IF YOU ARE AN EARTH SIGN THAT ISN'T TAURUS (VIRGO & CAPRICORN):
► You will not get any emotional difference...at first.
► On the 24th of April, you will start behaving like the Taurus victims, meaning your traits will suddenly become exaggerated.
► But you will also be screaming that THE END IS COMING!!

► However on the 13th hour of the 26th, you will join the Taurus victims and cause havoc in the city.
► Your character's eyes will glow reddish or yellowish (You can pick the color, and if you have either red or yellow eyes already, obviously pick the other color), AND they will also gain a pair of giant bull horns (it does not matter if they are male or female)
► Your Mutation skill for ONLY your SOUL persona will be unlocked. (And only during that hour)
► You will seek out Taurus characters and will make it your mission to protect them NO MATTER WHAT.
► Seriously to the point of creepy idol worship that they will hate themselves tomorrow for.

IF YOU ARE FIRE AND AIR SIGNS (FIRE - LEO, SAGITTARIUS & ARIES | AIR - AQUARIUS, GEMINI & LIBRA)
► Will not feel anything different for the week, and are the sanest people wondering what the hell is wrong with everyone else.

► Oh wait, we're kidding! Ha ha ha, thought you could get away that easy...
► On the 26th during the 13th Hour, your characters will ONLY BE ABLE TO USE MIND, PHYSICAL AND YOUR SIGN'S ELEMENT SKILLS. That means if your character knows status effects, physical attacks, and wind and fire skills, if they are a Leo they could only use their fire skills. This goes for all their normal attacks and not just their Personas.
► Moreover on the 26th, your characters will also have one ONE of their traits come out and dominate your character's behavior. So if a character is known for being aloof, they'll be aloof for the 13th hour. If they like to lead, they will try to lead everyone, and so on.
► The Taurus zombies, Taurus monsters, and the Earth players will also attack you.

IF YOU ARE UNFORTUNATELY(?!) IN THE WATER HELL...(CANCER, SCORPIO & PISCES)
► Your characters will only have their first FOUR powers available from the 24th to the 26th.
► They are filled with dread and terror starting on the 24th. At first it's just a weird need to jump at things, but as it goes on you start to get more and more paranoid. On the next day (the 25th) we're talking hearing voices being whispered and needed to use tinfoil to cover your head, and screaming that we're all going to die into the COMP System, and that "THE BULLS ARE COMING!"

► But suddenly everything stops on the 26th during the 13th hour.
► Suddenly, they are sane, and feeling perfectly normal.

► But now you've got the Taurus wanting to end you, with the Virgo and Capricorn following them.
► You will also have the Bull monsters and the Taurus/Virgo and Capricorn of the city swarm at you, zombie style, so it's not just the tiny bugs, but also the really big people in masks.
► And yes, this is not just the players but also includes the city populace so that is a lot of people wanting to cause problems.

► On the positive side, all your water based attacks, if you have any, have TRIPLED IN STRENGTH. Please use wisely, don't cause Tsunamis, etc etc.
► On the 13th hour of the 26th, you will also get your Mutation skill unlocked. (And only during that hour).

FOR THE FINAL BOSS FIGHT:
► Signup and it has five slots RIGHT HERE
► Each slot is for one element. Yes, means someone from Capricorn or Virgo will need to be tricked into attacking the Taurus boss. How this is done will be up to the players participating!
► One slot is open to everyone and it doesn't matter what sign it is. You can sign up for your slot and the wildcard one for two chances of joining the log.

► If you are picked for this boss battle, you can't join the next one.

THE OPT-OUT OPTION:
► Players who do not wish to participate are infected by Zodiac Rejection Syndrome in which, for some reason or another, they don't seem to be affected by the sickness that is covering the rest of the city. Think of it like everyone getting a massive cold and a few not having this problem. This does not mean that during the next round they would not be affected (if the player want to join, that time)
► KEEP IN MIND THAT MEANS YOU CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT (IE you can't use this to have what would be a Zodiac Hell character have the effects nulled and then have them attack the monsters normally.)
► Additionally, they obviously do not get the power up / persona skills / items / etc that comes with being in the event either.

EVENT TIMELINE:
► 19th: Characters start acting a tiny bit more energetic than usual if they are Taurus.This increases each day until...
► 21st: After the last event, the Government steps in, and offers to detain all of the Taurus visitors so that they won't cause problems. This is only of the players chose too, characters can try to run away from this.
► 22nd-23rd: The hunt for those that ran away begins, or at least find ways to detain them as well as a precautionary measure.
► 24th: Okay something is obviously very wrong. Nothing has happened yet? Maybe it was just a false ala-
► 24th (later that day): --okay never mind, now some people are saying it's the end of the world again. Except it doesn't seem to line up like last time?
► 25th: Can someone please tell these people to calm down. Everyone is warned into position and to prepare for the worse.
► 26th: The eyes of the Taurus have changed and they seem to be getting malicious even if caged...but then the Virgo and Capricorn start singing praise to them and causing trouble instead and WHAT IS GOING ON!?
► And the water signs are still screaming how this place is doomed and how we will all die.
► 26th: Oh god bulls everywhere, zombie townspeople, demons acting erratic, IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN.
► 26th, 13th Hour: GIANT MONSTER TAURUS BATTLE!!

Wait, I'm a bit confused on the wording of the example here. Wouldn't the Leo in the example be able to use their physical attacks and fire skills, assuming that they can use the three types of skills listed? Or did you guys mean that they can only use fire out of the two options of wind and fire?

Does 'can only use skills of their element' also apply to their original powers?

For example, in Riku's case (he's aries), would he be unable to use his ice/thunder/darkness/ect-based magic on the 26th?

Just wanted to clarify something. Underneath the description of the event's effects on Fire and Air signs, it says both of these things:

Does this mean that the thing about one of their traits being exaggerated doesn't happen until the 26th like the rest of the effects these signs get?

I just want to clarify, will these exaggerated traits also be directed at other Earth signs until the 26th? In this case, the Taurus's trait (Noda's) would be anger/attacking people, and normally this tends to be directed at Otonashi (who is a Virgo!). For the purpose of this event, would Noda refrain from attacking Otonashi outright despite his exaggerated trait because of Otonashi's sign, or will his link with other Earth signs not show up until later, like around the 24th-26th?

And also, does this dark taint on the Persona apply to other Earth signs, or Taurus alone? Thanks!

So some clarification: during the Thirteenth Hour, are Water signs still limited to their first four skills + Mutation? Are they able to use their secondary Persona? And does 'water based attacks' include Bufu spells?

Whooo okay! As of right now this is how its looking Kairi will be:

-She'll be letting herself be locked up once she learned about the Scorpio event and what happened in it. Of course, she'll be eventually getting out. B)

-Her overly emphasized traits will make her extremely overly kind and loving to everyone ever, she will be very reckless and overprotective, she will probably come to consider you her friend moments after meeting you, or if you already know her but aren't too considerably close you'll suddenly be bumped up to best friend forever, she'll be rather headstrong and stubborn, assertive with the occasional spike up of a nasty temper, and heavily desiring to have more power to protect her friends with. Some things might be tossed in order to amp up others, but this is how it'll likely go.

-As for the obsession, my current plan is for her to hoard her friends. Desiring to keep them all safe and close, she'll be trying to knock out her friends and lock them away somewhere in the castle using her keyblade to lock down the door. Of course a fellow keyblade wielder could unlock it, so they'll probably be caught last if they're caught at all, it's up to you guys uwu She'll probably be using some underhanded tactics to get them to let their guard down so she can grab em, depending on who it is she might either knock them or the head or use Bind or something.

-If you're a Virgo or a Capricorn and want to attach onto her, feel free! I know at least tentatively AU Neku and AU Xion will be with her, and she'll probably be fiercely loving and protective of anyone that joins her.

Oh my god I am so excited.

- He will not lock himself up because he will overestimate himself. So naturally, he will become extremely dangerous as time goes by. He will definitely avoid getting captured, but you are free to attempt in locking him up!

- His general personality traits are that he easily gets angered and tries to beat up his opponents with his halberd. He's extremely stubborn to listen to anyone except Yuri. His first trait that will spike up is his anger issues, so he will fall into blind rage and try to beat people up before anything else. He's...not that different normally, so even just talking to him will get him yelling at you and throwing his halberd towards your direction if you're not a Virgo or Capricorn.

- For is obsession, I am considering him to steal all the bladed weapons in town, not just the halberds. Swords, axes, lances, spears... Every bladed weapon will be stolen by him. These weapons will be used to attack anyone not an earth sign approach him. Used as in thrown towards you.

Umm... I thiiink that's about it for what I have planned for him so far!

As for his obsession, he will lock Nanako in the house and prevent anyone from getting close, even the IT. This is in his mind only to protect her from kidnappers, but it's more like protecting her from the entire world. I believe I will also give him an Aramid Room Persona.

Labrys will be heavily obsessing over human culture. It'll start light, from observing complete strangers and being very nosy, to trying to become human (changing her appearance and requesting help to do so over the network, for starters).

Eventually she will get upset that she can't be fully human, and this will result in a very dangerous anti-shadow weapon. She will claim she is violent because hey, humans love fighting and having wars, right?

GET IN LOSERS WE'RE SAVING THE CITY

ALRIGHT SO. This is vaguely related to [AU3] Kairi's Hoarding Plot above in the Taurus section, so check that out if you want. It is vaguely related but it doesn't have to be!

But basically, Daichi is gonna get kidnapped by Kairi and locked up in her fungeon of friendship, along with Eikichi, AU and OU Yosuke (and probably other peole I haven't confirmed or don't remember right now), and you know a bunch of other people. Eikichi's basically gonna bust them out of there when he regains his sanity, and because Eikichi has a water persona, they're going to discover that water attacks are super effective. Given the fact that the city is gonna be overrun by psychos of not only one but ~three~ different zodiac signs, their absolutely flawless plan is to:

Steal a firetruck from the city so they can get access to the fire hydrants and use the hose to attack monsters. And possibly people, but they'll probably be really careful and turn down the water pressure if they can because damn that shit hurts. Daichi is of course gonna be driving--

Now, eventually Daichi's gonna have to sidetrack so he can take care of his stupid cast, so their zodiac crew may be disperse at some point, they may not, we'll see! This'll give anyone who needs it the chance to go deal with their own other shenanigans, or go to the boss fight. They may regroup, I have no idea yet, but they will definitely not be involved in the boss fight directly.

NOW THE QUESTION FOR YOU BECOMES:
Do you wanna ride around the city in a firetruck full of idiots stopping crazy bull monsters and zombies?
Do you wanna have your character/characters encounter said firetruck full of idiots, whether they join along the crusade or not? It's up to you!!

Keep in mind though that anyone that ends up coming with them on the firetruck will probably get in trouble with the city since y'know this is highly illegal and all that stuff. As it is right now, since they're doing it in defense of the city and probably won't get too many people injured, we're all gonna end up with about a month of community service. Sounds like great bonding time to me.

OPTIONAL ATLUS BOSS FIGHT (HARD AS BALLS)

SO WHO WANTS TO TAKE THE HITOSHURA AND KING OF BEL CHALLENGE?!

Basically, during the 13th hour when shit hits the fan, Kazuya and Shura's demonic sides will be exaggerated to "oh shit" levels. As in, they will succumb to the desire of conquering humanity for demonkind - especially Kazuya, since he is the King of Demons, and the Demi-Fiend Hell's General! THE BOTH OF THEM WILL BE PUNISHED BY THE GOVERNMENT AFTER THE EVENT but it is up to you to detain them before they either destroy the city, or the 13th hour ends!

If any of you have played Digital Devil Saga, and tried to fight Hitoshura, you should have an idea of what's in store.

There's gonna be an option for the heroes, or even other villains and final bosses defending their turf, to do battle with Kazuya and Shura! It'll be near the centre of the city, so there's going to be a lot of collateral damage, as well as several high levelled demons accompanying Kazuya and Shura.

WARNING: THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF INJURY WHEN ENGAGING THESE TWO!

Kazuya and Shura can be defeated, but they are both extremely powerful and working together, so tackling them in parties a la RPG is highly recommended! Again, CHANCE OF INJURY IS VERY HIGH, so only participate in this boss fight if you don't mind your character getting hurt.

Alternatively, when commenting, put the colours Red (HIGH INJURY), Yellow (MODERATE INJURY), or Green (LOW INJURY) in the title so we know how far we can go with that character! Just know that with Green it means you would most likely fight their demonic minions, than them themselves.

Again, Shura and Kazuya CAN be defeated, and in fact, we highly encourage you to do so! But just be forewarned that it won't be easy at all...
