Shadow Event End

As of the 13th Hour tonight, the Shadow Event is over! Feel free to continue backdating posts and threads for the event if you want to, since it's getting close to the holidays and we know people are busy. If you didn't have time to get a specific thread or post up for your character facing their Shadow, you are also free to handwave that - just post a short little blurb to this post describing how it went down.

And now, rewards! As we alluded to at the start of the event, anyone who faced their Shadow will be receiving a bonus for facing the darkness within. Those characters will receive a one-level bump to their Soul Persona's Dark element resistance. Here's a short breakdown of what that means, just to be clear:

-Weak becomes Neutral
-Neutral becomes Strong
-Strong becomes either Null or Absorb

For characters whose Dark resistance is already as high as it can get (Null/Reflect/Absorb), this bonus will be applied to their Light element resistance instead. Be sure to edit your Soul Persona as appropriate to reflect this difference on your character hub page. As a note, if you handwaved the fight with your Shadow, you are still eligible for this benefit - just make sure you comment to this post letting us know.

Characters who did not have Shadows during the event or who had Shadows but did not face them personally before the end of the week will not get this bonus, and their Shadows will simply disappear from the city by the end of the event. They may have avoided facing their deepest fears and worst selves, but also receive no benefit for continuing to hide from them.

Okay SO quick question: Kotoha's Victini is naturally weak to Dark but it's also fully maxed out and has Resist Dark, which I think overrides the Weak and sets it to Strong? So I don't actually know how to upgrade it.

Resist Dark voids a natural weakness to Dark, which would mean her Victini would have a neutral affinity for it at that point. So with the upgrade from facing her Shadow, it would actually end up being Strong at this point.

Handwaved Shadow Fights

These don't need to be long or detailed, just let us know if you didn't have time to put a thread up if your character would have eventually fought their Shadow.

As of this comment, Even is *about* to showdown with his Shadow, but hasn't gotten there. He'll be doing so in due time.

Sarah is definitely going to face her Shadow, and I was planning on Kotoha doing it as well, but I dunno if Kotoha will be able to get to it before everyone loses interest.

Yurick' Shadow is actually going to show up at the tail end of the fight with Atsuro's Shadow. It's made its presence known to one other person privately already.

Shura attempted to accept her Shadow, but her short temper prevented her from actually going through with it. It ended up with a Shura nearly dead and a Shadow being defeated by the time limit, before she had time to actually sacrifice Shura and trigger the Conception.
