Hi, I'm freshmeat Ki and this is Yurick from The Last Story for the Nintendo Wii. He's a powerful fire mage, the youngest member of a mercenary group, and a bit of a defrosting ice prince. Since he's an orphan he had to learn self-reliance at a young age, so he can come across as a bit distant and he can fling sarcasm with pinpoint accuracy. Behind that chilly mask he's actually very soft-hearted and caring, it's just a matter of finding the cracks in the armor. Once you're in, he's a loyal friend and tough ally who will back you up without question (unless there are ghosts involved, he's terrified of them). He's absolutely devoted to his comrade Zael, who is his first true friend (and someone he feels he owes a life-debt), so if you mess with one, you mess with both.

I'm happy to be here! Yurick might eventually warm up to this place, too, so in the meantime be kind to both of us.

... oh, and don't try to look under the eyepatch. It's like Fight Club, you don't talk about it. That's privileged information, friends only.

Welcome to the game! I go by Wighty and I play Atsuro Kihara from Devil Survivor here and I just intro'd Phantom Girl from Legion of Superheroes. It's a little slow at the moment due to cons/the start of summer, but it's an awesome game, and I hope you enjoy it here!

I should totally finish Last Story sometime. I only played like the first few chapters and then my Wii got relocated elsewhere and weird things happened.

It's a pleasure to meet you, Wighty! Ah, Devil Survivor! I really need to play those, since I'm such a huge SMT geek. And yes, you totally need to finish Last Story, it is amazing. Hopefully with two charas from TLS here, it'll spark some interest in a rather obscure game.

Devil Survivor and Survivor 2 both got/are getting upgraded rereleases, so it's a good time to be interested! The one for 2 is coming out sometime next year I think, but Overclocked is a vast improvement over 1.

Yeah I was super impressed with Last Story I can't think why I never went back to pick it up again! I had just meant the lost princess, IIRC.
