It was a pretty epic storm, my mom sent pictures. :p

Basically, Vriska was Death's fake daughter for a while. SHe doesn't know any deep dark secrets, just some really basic stuff (and that she doesn't get along with Karkat :p), but she'd be inclined to feel a bit protective of her since she felt responsible for her fake family.
