Mod Announcements!
Three mod announcements before the usual big update post, but they are super important!
NEW MODERATOR
We've added
Lauren
(Yamato, Kazuya, Anant, Sophie) to the mod team! Lauren has been helping us behind the scenes already, as you may have noticed. Our pages no longer have my...-ahem- typical french misspellings and language abuse. By adding her fully into the mod team, we will be able to have extra brain power and speed up everything more. We'll continue to make this fun for you all.
TAG YOUR POSTS
Second is a reminder to please, please, please TAG YOUR POSTS. If you reply to a log, add your character's tag. If you reply on the network, add your character's tag.
FINAL EVENT AND THE PAIN CHART
Third has to do with the tournament, hurray!
So! As the Tournament Draws to a Close there's trouble brewing and terrible things might happen.
Thankfully the healing teams here are good enough that you'll be able to recover even if you get an arm torn off BUT we need to know whose arms we can remove.
Keep in mind a few things:
THE BATTLE TONIGHT IS UNWINABLE FOR YOUR CHARACTERS you can try and save as many people as possible, but there are certain things that will happen.
This being said, there are NPCs you can save and also kill who is saved and who is killed will depend entirely what you guys do and could change the game later on.
We will be attacking characters so get ready for PAIN.
This is why we'll need a pain level filled out for your characters, asap. Make sure you do this so our NPCs know how much they can damage you:
GREEN : Character is harmed superficially. Maximum damage at that level is a knock back to a wall and losing unconsciousness. You won't stay in the hospital, just take a few pills to feel better.
YELLOW: Character will experience bodily harm. Maximum damage at this level is a broken arm or leg, but nothing physically removed. You may bleed from the attacks, and will be removed from battle if incapacitated. Your stay in the hospital will be for a few days.
RED: Character will get into life-or-death situations. Maximum damage at this level is torn body parts. Keep in mind that while they may get into a lot of damage, NO ONE WILL BE KILLED. Your stay in the hospital will be for a few days up to a week or two. You will not be missing the next events. So don't feel like you can't do this and miss out what is going to happen in February.
Fill this out, and please post it below:

[Q&A]
[Q&A]
Would this be permitted or do I need to get her knocked out of combat ASAP because I am totally fine with either!

Re: [Q&A]
Also: I didn't remember until just now, but I will be out of town this weekend, so is backtagging permissible when I get home?
no subject
Yes that is fine! I'll be gone during the weekend myself (pixle)

If Desco does manage to kill someone, will she be expected to turn the body into the authorities? ...intact?
...now there's a question I never thought I'd need to ask.

If there *is* any actual dismemberment or other gore, can people please mark it in the subject lines? While I know many people here are okay with reading it, there are others who might be squicked by it, and this isn't actually a horror game, so a little discretion would be nice. c:
2. Is giving 'red' or 'yellow' guaranteeing a character will be injured to that extent or is it simply letting you guys know that we're okay with it, should it wind up being a possibility due to whatever the characters will be fighting?
I just ask because there are some pretty strong to godlike characters here who might be absolutely okay with red level damage but might actually be too strong for that to happen easily, and ... yeah. Okay this made sense in my head.

Yeah it's what they are ready for, but don't worry about hem being too strong.

And please ignore that this is the wrong account.Re: [Q&A]
