Dual Persona OOC Plotting Post

So, Dual Personas!  That sure is a thing.  I thought it might be nice to toss up a quick plotting post over here so that everyone can plot and work these out with their CR in one convenient place instead of having to track everyone down individually on Plurk or AIM or whatever.  So let's do it like this:

1) Everyone leave a blank comment with your character's name in the subject line
2) Your CR will tag you
3) Talk about designing a Dual Persona together
4) ???
5) PROFIT

Oh, what are Rise's weak Arcana? Nano's Temperance, and her bad ones are Magician, Chariot, Hanged Man, and Devil, so she's in the clear.

As far as how Nano feels about Rise, it's friendship combined with mild awe of her social acumen. Writing skills based on feelings is so weird. I wonder where we should go with that one.

We could go for a Charm or Egoism skill to represent the admiration while still being useful? Rise tries to be supportive and reassuring toward Nano, as well as thinking she's the most adorable thing since...well, the last pair of robot girls she met. Probably a stat boosting spell? We could use that one for Heat Riser if we wanted.

Stat boost or a status cure spell, methinks. Supportive sounds like boost, and reassuring sounds like cure.

And yeah, I think Charm sounds pretty good for Nano's emotion skill. Which I guess means Sexy Dance, haha. XD

Rise approves Sexy Dance. Because if she was going to be embarrassed over that shit she'd have never even joined the IT.

Maybe Heat Riser for Rise's New Skill and keep Marakukaja as Nano's contribution? So

Representing something from both their universes, huh... so what do the worlds of Persona 4 and Nichijou have in common? The first thing that comes to mind for me is moe fluffy schooltimes with friends, since it sure as heck isn't horrific murders. I'm inclined to write something nifty and custom for this one instead of picking it from the list, but I'll probably need to think about it for a bit unless you've got something.

I'm not sure what to have it do yet, but I like the idea of calling it Synchronization. It references both music and robotics, so it's a good callback to both characters as individuals, and also suggests a oneness of emotions and feelings between them in context of their relationship to one another.

Also, as far as arcana for this thing, I'm thinking either of these would be appropriate to sum up their relationship:
Ace of Wands
Three of Cups

Kind of like Dual Shadow except it happens 100% of the time instead? How often should it be usable? Once every turn seems crazy broken.

Well, since it takes a turn to cast it, it's really just giving one of our moves to another character.

Unlike Bullet Time which is party-wide and therefore pretty overpowered.

That's true. So I guess looking at it that way, it's not too bad.

So who should we use for the Persona itself? Frankly at this point Hatsune Miku might not be an awful representation.

Yeah, it's looking that way, huh? I'm willing to try for it if you think we can get away with it, though that's definitely also an appable character (actually, someone on my Plurk list was talking about wanting to app her here not too long ago). Assuming Dual Personas also follow the rules over here, the Persona would disappear once she came in. Maybe we should ask the mods about it first?
