Dual Persona OOC Plotting Post

So, Dual Personas! That sure is a thing. I thought it might be nice to toss up a quick plotting post over here so that everyone can plot and work these out with their CR in one convenient place instead of having to track everyone down individually on Plurk or AIM or whatever. So let's do it like this:

1) Everyone leave a blank comment with your character's name in the subject line
2) Your CR will tag you
3) Talk about designing a Dual Persona together
4) ???
5) PROFIT

Yeah, pretty much. I'm utterly canonblind to what Latooni is from, so we may need to spend a little time hashing that one out a little more.

Latooni's canon isn't super-conducive to Personas, per se, although a few sufficiently mythological things who probably aren't appable exist. More likely we'd be looking at someone from science fiction in general, or maybe Galatea from mythology? She fits the same "object" -> "real" growth Pinocchio does, and also is usually used as a metaphor for someone character developing out of an off-putting or defensive shell, which is part of Lat's story too.

No one appears to be using her yet, either.

Oooooh, me gusta the Galatea suggestion. Let's work with that one.

Lat's contribution from Vasilisa should probably be one of the Scan skills. I'd say Patra for her New Skill, but Pinocchio already has that. Maybe Orange Wall to cover their mutual weakness?

All righty, sounds good. I assume that means Latooni's feelings toward Nano are those of friendship and protection? Nano's feelings are more or less those of easygoing camaraderie, since they work at the same place. Which is probably just going to mean another support skill anyway for her New Skill, heh. And I assume their cross-canon CR skill should be robot-themed in some sort of way, because yeah.

That's Latooni's attitude toward everyone. Partly because she's a cliché-ridden anime heroine, but mostly because her friends have a distressing habit of dying or getting brainwashed.

Um, I'm sure Nano will be fine, though.

Let's go with Orange Wall for her New Skill, since it suits how she usually does things in a fight (finding a weakness and either exploiting or covering it).

As for their cross-canon skill, Latooni has a cutesy dancing robot attack in canon that's the most amazing thing ever, but unfortunately it's already her Mutation Skill. Given Nano's rocket punches and Latooni's idolization of a super robot fanboy, maybe something more oldschool...
