Dual Persona OOC Plotting Post

So, Dual Personas!  That sure is a thing.  I thought it might be nice to toss up a quick plotting post over here so that everyone can plot and work these out with their CR in one convenient place instead of having to track everyone down individually on Plurk or AIM or whatever.  So let's do it like this:

1) Everyone leave a blank comment with your character's name in the subject line
2) Your CR will tag you
3) Talk about designing a Dual Persona together
4) ???
5) PROFIT

Something time/fate related, maybe? To go with the Hero of Time-Princess of Destiny thing.

Yes definitely. My brain went to Norn which is in SMT already but that is not Zelda. /attempts to fix brain

Hah, yeah, I don't think there's anything in Zelda lore that would quite fit, unless we make like, a personification of the Ocarina of Time or something. :|a My own mind went to Chronos.

... OH WAIT there is a Goddess of Time mentioned in Majora's Mask! Vaguely, and she isn't given a name, but we could use that if you want.

While we're at it, got any ideas for skills you want?

The way I understand it, the dual persona gets four skills: one from Link's persona, one from Zelda's persona, one new skill that represents how Link feels about Zelda, and one new skill that represents how Zelda feels about Link.

Zelda's purse is almost completely healing (Dia, Recarm, Mediarama), so there's that.

Epona is mostly Light and Earth and I'm thinking it'd be Light given the Persona...


Goddess of Time is what I was thinking though. Link has no problem with female purses. :|b

It is OoT Link's lot in life to always be surrounded by ladies. This is fact.

Okay, so how's this:
► Kouha (Inflicts a small amount of Light damage on one enemy.) [From Link]
► Mediarama (Recovers a medium amount of HP of all allies.) [From Zelda]

And then the two skills that represent ~feelings~. Which will be... interesting. :|a gdi Zelda why are your feelings so complicated.

Erm. Anyway. Fff. I'm thinking some kind of defensive skill. Because even though she can take care of herself it's his ~duty~ to protect her as the legendary Hero and such.

Makes sense! And as much as I should think this thing should have more than one offensive skill, the two base skills I think fit most for Zelda -> Link are Satukaja (Doubles ally's Attack, Defence and Agility, but caster now has Exhaustion status. (2 turns)) or some kind of Endure skill. For. Obvious reasons. |Da

To be fair Endure is never a bad skill.

This is true. But a buff skill that weakens her encapsulates the faith and guilt she has regarding Link. :|a Decisions, decisions...
