+1 goddess

Hi Strings, Rayne (Elizabeth Middleford-mun) here with my second character, Amaterasu the wolf/sun goddess/mother of all that is good from the scenery-porn game known as Okami. For those who haven't played the game before, it's the story of how she and her friend Issun saved old-timey Japan from an evil entity known as Yami using awesome brush stroke abilities. She's coming in from after the end of her own game and the beginning of its sequel Okamiden, in which her son Chibiterasu fights off more darkness and demons.

This particular Ammy will be able to transform between an adult human and wolf to make interacting with her city friends easier. Can't put doggy doors on everything, after all. Here are some notes about her!

• Her Arcana is Empress and her Sign is Aries.
• Her Persona is Tsukuyomi.
• Her Unlucky Arcana are Strength/Lust, Chariot, Priestess and Justice.
• She is living in Libra 10-01 but will probably be half-to-two-thirds-living in the Capricorn district.
Not everyone can see her red markings and reflector. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Only those who believe in the gods or have a strong spiritual affinity or energy can see them. Anyone else will instead see her as a white wolf when she's in wolf form.

That's all for now, I think! As ever, if you need to contact me, feel free to find me on AIM as ladyphantomhive or add me on Plurk as [plurk.com profile] ladyraynedrops.

I have a Jedi. I am just going to assume that counts as a "strong spiritual affinity or energy" for seeing the markings and maybe feeling like there's something more than a wolf there. If not, I have a delete button for this tag I'm writing.

My other character, techie sci fi pilot that she is, will just see cool wolf.

Well, the way I see it is if the Exile here had any idea what shinto deities/kami were, she'd have no problem believing in them even if she didn't worship them. Shinto and the Jedi view of the Force both verge into animism, too, even if the latter's closer to various Chinese-originating faiths that George Lucas threw in a sci fi blender.
