Good morning, Destiny Strings! The first big week stuff is all up now! June Calendar has all the info and what's yet to come, but let's focus on what we currently have to offer you:

The three logs currently open are:
▶ The Barrier Cracking and Aftermath Log
▶ The Outside the Barrier Log for Newcomers
▶ The Town Meeting and Plume of Dusk Feather Collecting Log

Since that is a log of open logs, and they are better done in groups, not to mentio nthe fact we haven't had one in quite a while, it's time for....

Instructions

▶ 1) Post a comment with your information, then a section for each of your character using the form below. Title it with YOUR NAME | CHARACTER NAME 1 , CHARACTER NAME 2, ETC

SNAPSHOT: A slightly maladjusted but actually quiet caring teen, getting closer to 17 now. He's got a lot of deadpan sass in him, but is generally pretty polite and distant.... though some might notice he hangs out with social butterflies like Hizumi Mizushirou and Taro in spite of his introversion. Is pretty much addicted to playing the piano. He goes to Andromeda high school and is probably known as that one quiet kid who lives with Hizumi, brings lunches that smell like a slice of heaven and disappears regularly on breaks to lock himself in the music room. He also works at one of the arcades in Cancer ward. Oh right, deep and angsty secret-- He's technically a clone of 'God' and it sucks a lot. He's working to find a solution for a canon problem here in Hinoto-Ri, and has a time limit as far as he's aware.

STATUS: He's helping out his friend and castmate Hizumi with a mysterious key he got for the event. Otherwise, he's one of the people who's now inhabiting the Narumi detective agency-- mostly as a joke, it's now evolved into a sort of business where they take investigations. His castmate Hiyono recently departed, but he's handling that quietly.

PLANS: Gosh, he just needs more CR. Ayumu is a toughy to get to socialize because of his personality, but I'd really like to get him out more.

YES: Characters who are willing to actually try to befriend this dork are worth their weight in gold. I've found he clicks best with aggressively friendly types when it comes to friendship, ironically. Also he's always on the lookout for people who might help him solve a current, very serious canon problem Hizumi and he are looking for answers to. People with knowledge of curses or genetic weirdness leaning on magical might interest him, but he's not liable to talk too easily due to the delicacy of the situation and the risks involved.

I would offer Flynn as potential CR but if Ayumu ever gives any inclination of being related to the SMT God... well. He'd get a Megidolaon straight in the face.

Maybe Takakage'd be a better choice? He does have 'abnormal' powers, and passively friendly, so that might work.

YEAH I know it's bizarre and crazy sounding. He's not related to the SMT god, luckily enough, but his world's 'God' is still a giant jerk. His world is weird and his older brother is kind of 'God' in a weird, divine chessboard sort of way. Ayumu doesn't ever mention it himself, especially since he's living with his foil in Hinoto-Ri, so if you want CR with Flynn, it'd work I think? But either of them would be fun to thread with, I think!

I think Takakage'd be better, hahah. They can be dorky friends.

... but we need to figure out something for them to do. orz

Does Takakage frequent any of the places mentioned above in his info?

... I doubt so. He's too old to attend school (though he still looks around 18, 21 at most). He works at the library, though, maybe that could be a point?

On mobile so won't do the response form- but Ayumu goes to Andromedea High, right? Nanami ptobably needs to get her ass to school too before she breaks underage education laws or something- they could develop a CR through there?
