▼ WHAT ARE ULTIMATE PERSONAS?
We're glad you asked!
Ultimate Personas are an evolution of a character's Soul Persona, awakened when they take up a new resolution in their heart, face a major personal issue, or rise above their weaknesses and shortcomings. This is generally the culmination of many months of character development gained by forming Social Links with other characters in the game, and growing and changing in the process. Although it's a very different process for each individual character, this journey of self-discovery awakens the sleeping power in the Soul Persona, causing it to change into its Ultimate form.

▼ HOW DO I GET ONE?
As noted above, awakening an the Ultimate Persona requires the character to have gone through some large personal change or revelation. As such, the character must already have achieved MAX level before applying to receive their Ultimate Persona. For most characters, this means they have been in the game for 9 months from their IC intro, and 6 months for characters who already had a Persona before coming to Hinoto-Ri.
Requesting an Ultimate Persona upgrade will require that the player is able to provide sufficient character development detail on how their character has grown / changed / learned since coming to the city. Note that this can take very different forms for different characters, and not all characters will change in a positive way - resolving to destroy the world by giving in fully to one's hatred is just as monumental a change in outlook as accepting one's own true nature and deciding to help humanity, for example. All it means is a different god will take notice when the character is granted the Ultimate Persona.

It may not even happen right away, as it can take some time for a suitably dramatic event to trigger it. This is a major milestone in your character's development, so get creative and use your imagination! The only thing you have to remember is that you cannot evolve to ultimate unless you have been approved.

Justification:
When she first woke up in the city, Atoli was fully convinced that if she acted as who she was, no one would like her. She believed Haseo, the person she was trying the hardest to befriend at home, only spent time with her because she looked like his old guildmate, and it had stuck. Even something so supposedly harmless as a snowball fight causes her to think someone is trying to demean her. It wasn’t long since that though that Sora was able to convince her otherwise - Haseo actually did like her, based on the fact that 1) he’d come after her when she ran away, 2) the way he (or she? I forget which...) had acted around her when they’d first met here, and 3) that kind of thinking was dumb anyway, people have similar-looking PCs all the time. Both Haseo she encountered later (the The-World-as-real-life female Haseo and the normal one from the future) would confirm this and also say that the one person she truly admired, her guild superior Sakaki, had been using her the whole time.
Although she realized then that she didn’t have to change for other people, she wasn’t quite sure who she was after having suffered from so much pressure in her real life outside of the city. Surprisingly, her love for animals has not decreased despite the number of animal-like demons, and her recent foray into Pokémon has even gotten her into a club now that she has a course load that is while existent not as unforgiving as the one she had at home. She still needs to expand herself after being crushed under the weight of people’s inflexibility, but now that she doesn’t have that pressure she is happy and free to do so.

-Data Drain is too powerful as written, as this would inflict an average of 7 status ailments at once after we introduce the new ones. Please pick three of the available ailments for this skill to cause to bring it in line with skills like Dunwich Horror and Dreamworld and reply with them here before posting the Ultimate in your journal.
Please make sure to update your character hub with the appropriate information. You are now free to have Atoli's Soul Persona transform into the Ultimate Persona form at any appropriately dramatic time.
