▼ WHAT ARE ULTIMATE PERSONAS?

Ultimate Personas are an evolution of a character's Soul Persona, awakened when they take up a new resolution in their heart, face a major personal issue, or rise above their weaknesses and shortcomings. This is generally the culmination of many months of character development gained by forming Social Links with other characters in the game, and growing and changing in the process. Although it's a very different process for each individual character, this journey of self-discovery awakens the sleeping power in the Soul Persona, causing it to change into its Ultimate form.

▼ HOW DO I GET ONE?
As noted above, awakening an the Ultimate Persona requires the character to have gone through some large personal change or revelation. As such, the character must already have achieved MAX level before applying to receive their Ultimate Persona. For most characters, this means they have been in the game for 9 months from their IC intro, and 6 months for characters who already had a Persona before coming to Hinoto-Ri.
Requesting an Ultimate Persona upgrade will require that the player is able to provide sufficient character development detail on how their character has grown / changed / learned since coming to the city. Note that this can take very different forms for different characters, and not all characters will change in a positive way - resolving to destroy the world by giving in fully to one's hatred is just as monumental a change in outlook as accepting one's own true nature and deciding to help humanity, for example. All it means is a different god will take notice when the character is granted the Ultimate Persona.

Justification: When Desco first arrived in Hinoto-Ri, she was violent, selfish, and cared only about her own desires. Now, months later, she is...still violent and selfish. However, she has started to care about other people! Thanks to continual input from the various non-human Visitors Desco has decided to be violently overprotective of, she's evolved from someone who does not care if you die to someone who does not care if you die but will spend effort on avenging you anyway!
Someone please explain why death is a big deal to her she still does not understand.
Desco's closest CR have become her surrogate 'family', and with these select few Desco shows consideration, patience, and a level of caring that is normally reserved for her Big Sis. Their views of her penchant for violence and emotional dependency issues vary - Otoha has personally witnessed how violent she can be, while Nano has seen Desco at her most vulnerable.
Desco's Ultimate Persona, Yog-Sothoth, is a Support-type Persona due to Desco's growing disenchantment with her Combat-type Dragonlord. Dragonlord can't particularly kill things faster or more efficiently than Desco herself can, and it lacks the kinds of skills Desco currently deems most useful - the ability to keep in contact with her 'family', heal their injuries, and transport them to safety. Her own desire to protect both her family and her 'subjects', will, therefore, give rise to a Persona that can do those things.
