WINE PARTY PLAYER EVENT
WINE PARTY TO CELEBRATE NEW YEARS
This an info post about a Player Event Log I'm gonna do to begin the New Year with a BANG. What’s happening? Well there’s going to be a massive Wine Party, hosted by Anant and his Persona, the God of Wine and Madness himself; Dionysus! Where will it take place? In the Scorpio Ward – in the large square where the Masquerade took place a few months back. However, the event can still happen when you leave the party and go somewhere else~
Now what’ll happen? Well it’d be your usual mingling affairs, right? Free alcohol given, meeting up with people or groups (You don’t need to have CR with Anant to do this. It’s pretty much doing whatever you want in the comments!), and maybe overindulging a little-
OH! And some of the drinks will have weird effects.
Dionysus has, ah, ‘blessed’ some of the drinks he gives out. It’s entirely up to you on what’ll happen! You can luck out and have normal drinks (or bring your own), getting drunk the old fashioned way, or you can choose one of the effects listed!
Or even make up your own! Really, this is all about being silly and having fun!
LIST OF EFFECTS
Charm: You will love EVERYONE you see – or just one specific person. There’s no in between. How will they express their love? Through hugs, through dramatic, flowery confessions, through slurred words while clinging to their arm – go nuts! The crazier and more embarrassing, the better!
Overjoyed: You will be incredibly overjoyed. The sky looks so awesome! Look at all of these colours! Oh feel these clothes – oh man everything’s just fantastic! And etcetera. Hugging may also happen with this status effect.
Panic: Every tiny little thing will send you into paroxysms of terror and confusion. Prone to running away and cowering behind or under objects. Paranoia. Screaming. Crying. Be creative! Minor hallucinations can occur as well.
Sleep: You will be super drowsy. You will fall asleep randomly in the middle of conversations, only to wake up after a few minutes or so. Will also sleepwalk and sleep talk. While sleeping you’ll be prone to having crazy wild dreams that seem incredibly real. A bit of confusion between dream and reality can happen.
Unlucky: Everything starts going wrong! You keep dropping your drink! You bump into people! You slip on banana peels that appear out of nowhere! Terrible, awful bad luck! Be creative in how this occurs!
Lucky: Alternatively, you’ll have the best luck in the world! You find a hundred on the floor. Someone gives you a free cake on a silver platter. You pick up a cute girl, or a cute guy. You keep winning at dice and Poker. Today is a good day!
Mute: Cannot summon your Persona, and neither can you speak. Have to communicate through hand motions or writing for the entire night.
Blind: Decreased vision. You can be completely blind, partially blind, colour blind, or just have blurry vision. The severity of it is entirely up to you.
Sick: Pretty self-explanatory. That type of drink just didn’t agree with you. Fevers, chills, nausea – the symptoms and the severity are entirely up to you.
Cloak: You will become transparent! You cannot summon your Persona, and it may be difficult to interact with physical objects. You can either be utterly intangible, or partially intangible, or completely invisible or partially invisible. It’s entirely up to you.
Float: You will persistently hover a foot or two off the ground, but no way to direct yourself. You’ll have to ‘swim’ or flail about to try and move about, or have someone drag you along like a human-shaped balloon.
Beast: Animal Magic! Kind of. Whoever gets this effect will think they are whatever animal you choose, and will act accordingly. Except to everyone else you’re still human. The severity can depend on you. You can have them still be themselves, but just think they have transformed into an animal when they haven’t, or they think they’re that animal completely, and just run around pretending to be a dog sniffing people’s butts. Go wild!
The effects will last until 2nd January. While the majority of the event will take place in the event log, you can still wander off to other places within the log if you so choose to. The party begins at midnight on the 1st January, and will go on for the length of the entire day. Anant and Dionysus do not need to sleep!

All in all just have fun. You can think up your own effects, or mix and match some! Be imaginative, play nice, and let’s all get drunk and party!
